There is a spot inside the console (to the back behind the cassette slots) where the "key" is supposed to be stored. 944 S2 cabs came with two, and 968 cabs only came with one.

I am the only person that I have ever seen that stored the key there, tho. I have seen people leave them in the roof panel all the time, which I think is a bad idea, or else just throw them in the storage spot under the radio.

Good luck, I would hate to have a cab with the top stuck up in beautiful weather!

Regards,

I think they easily fall off if you leave them attached to the bolts while driving.

My 968 cab came with 2 keys, I leave them on all the time and they have never come off after 2 years.
