i'm envious.
i'm working on an E21 racecar project, doing the work alone, and it's taken me hours and hours to get the interior cleaned up to the level you have yours.

This is not the first day that I've worked on the interior, I had a number of hours into it already.

Propane torch followed by a $20 dollar air-powered gasket scraper is the trick. The stuff came off like butter!

Looks good Tim!

I took 50 pounds out of the BOSS car just by pulling the old wiring and dash. Wish I would have taken the time to pressure wash and clean the chassis like you did.

Do you have a target date to have V 2.0 on track?

I had hoped to be done by early Sept so that I could test and tune at RA with BMWCCA, they have a Friday test day for instructors that is 7 hours of open track. Not sure that I'll make it, still have lot's to do on the tub, along with fiberglass repair and placement, painting, rebuilding the engine, plumbing the SC, etc. I really just need to take two weeks off from work and get this thing done

post photos of the stitch welding. My E21 strut tower seams had so much seam sealer, the welds were contaminated even after wire brushing to death

All wheel wells have been stripped of undercoating, still deciding if I will do the underside or leave it alone.

FEDEX man made a Saturday delivery yesterday, the strut that was damaged in the crash was repaired by Karl at Racer's Edge. It needed a new body and shaft, retained all other internal parts from the old strut.

Installed new rod bearings last night. Today I'm pulling the rear end and torque tube, will then temporarily install engine and begin mocking up the SC.
