Resurrecting Frankencar

Really dumb off topic question but, if that is your bride in your avatar why the heck are you wasting time messing with old P-cars? If she is your daughter then I understand.
Oh yea, your recommendation for rotating my Hoosiers with the wheels I bought from you about 3 years ago was fantastic. I am just now down to the wear indicators, but the wear is so even I think there might be one more event in them although they have lost a little grip.

If you are still running the same tires after three years, you need to either drive more, or drive harder

Is it appropriate on this forum to say screw-u?
u can tell by the my avatar pic they ain't the only tyres I use. Seriously, between me and the kiddo they probably have at least 10 DE events on them.

You can tell from my previous posts that this car really has everything removed from the front end, no lights or light motor mechanisms to deal with. Thus, I don't know the issue related to those things.
Really, I had very little trouble because the car is stripped. Since my car is a 944S it came with the smaller radiator. Since I wanted to run the larger 951/968 rad, I had to cut the lower radiator support and lower it by about 1.5". My other issues were related to running an IC setup. I do not see how you could easily do this on a street car, but on my stripped race car is was fairly simple and documented in this thread.

I am aware that for the supercharger installation the headlight linkage and stock hood latch must go. I will the former by adding a headlight motor to the driver's side headlight and the latter by using hood pins/latches.
I was just wondering whether there are other modification that will be necessary. e.g. redoing placement of the radiator? Will the stock NA transmission be up to the job?
Will address potential overheating prophylacticially by adding hood vents.

No, just a photo op at Barber

Overheating may not be an issue if you are planning on using this as a street car. My overheating issue likely came from doing a front mount IC and not having it ducted properly. Air was just flowing around the IC/radiator instead of through it.

just an option code. its in my sig because when i first saw it when i bought the car i thought "wow what a cool sounding exotic option i must have!" turns out its for painted wheels. (which have long since been taken off the car by the PO...)
so im just making fun of myself...

Since your car is an '86, it will have the smaller radiator and you will likely want to get a used one from a 951 or 968. They are the same width and depth, but are about 1.5" taller. I simple cut the radiator support and welded some metal to make it fit. If you do this, then you need to get the longer "lower radiator hose" from the 951/968.

Have you considered installing a standalone engine management system?

Yes, I'll be racing at Barber this weekend, come out and hang with us. Enduro is Sat at 2 and Sunday there are two 30 minute sprints at 10:30 and 12:30.

First weekend racing the car is complete; 2 out of 3 ain't bad That is, I won my class in the enduro and the first sprint race on Sunday morning. I had a very good lead in my class in the afternoon sprint but the SC pulley belt starting slipping badly and I lost boost. The belt was slipping enough that it was producing smoke, so instead of having it snap, and potentially take out the timing belt, I called it quits. The issue with the belt was really my fault, I told myself to tighten it on Sunday but was busy running a fundraiser (Accelerating a Cancer Cure) at the event and just didn't have time.
On Saturday I was wrestling the car under hard braking as I just could not dial enough rear brake out of the car. I was running DTC 70's/60's Front/Rear. Running Turbo S calipers in front and 968 front calipers in the rear. On Sunday I put in a set of street pads and braking was great
Will get some video posted this week.
