Default Electrical Ground connections

Anybody have some guidance on the location of the ground connections which go to MP III? I have located the 6.0 BR wires and the MP III connection points under the driver side dash, but the ground wires dissappear into a big wire bundle I don't want to take apart to trace. Where are all the connections to the other end of the MP III wire made? I have several intermittent electrical problems which seem to be associated with this ground location, but I haven't been able to find where the connectioins labelled C2, F3, etc. which connect to 13 are located in the car.

Thanks

I'm pretty sure that MP111 is the ground to the ECU and DME . I'll see if I can find the reference I saw last month.

C2, F3 etc are the grid coordinates on the edges of the pages...

Thanks -- Got that part (grid coord) -- but there are also wires associated with the coordinates which terminate somewhere -- where? Presumable to a terminal strip (?) like device which then terminates to the MPIII locatio with the single Brown 6.0 wire. One end of the brown 6.0 wire is at MPIII and the other end ---???. Thought maybe some of you who have stripped cars down for racing might have run into the location.

If you goto the grid coord, there should be a box refferencing back to the coordinate you came from.. it is tedious sometimes, but you can trace out EVERY wire from the schematics.. I will pull my elec diagrams when I get home and see if I can tell you where MPIII connects to....

did you get this sorted ?
I have just found my schematics

MP1 is the ground for the fuel pump

MPlll is the ground for terminal 85 of the DME relay .

12v+ is supplied to terminal 86 of the DME when ignition is switched on .It passes through the coil of the first relay to terminal 85, which is then grounded at MPlll .

Can't find MPll anywhere ? I've got a feeling its the earth to the ECU
