need help
Got a set of wheels from my friend with a 951. I went to put on my car but they do not fit properly. So I need spacers and longer threads in order to accomplish. problem being I don't know exactly what sizes I need or where to get said items.

holy moley those are some big wheels. i have a doubt u can even fit those in the wheel well.
stock early offset is +23. so u'd need a 33mm spacer to get it lined up in front. ......somebody confirm...i'm horrible at offset math heh

Oh the will fit, BUT you may end up having to roll your fenders and liberal application of a hammer to the inside of the rear wheel well may be needed.. oh and the spacers are a definite!

FWIW guys: The wheels do not rub anywhere on an early car inside or out. These wheels fit perfectly on a late offset car, so he basically needs whatever people use to put later wheels on an early car
Bobby, I'll try and figure out what size spacers would be good.
The front spacers will probably have their own studs and you can get longer rear studs from www.paragon-products.com - they are pretty cheap!

I thought early 85 OEM offsets were different from 86?
However 86 is 23 and 13 resectively f-r. Some of it depends on tire sizes, but the fronts can accept anything from a 21mm to 28mm depending in tires....a 33mm will push the rim/tire into the fenderwell.
A 44mm OS is a really odd size for our cars. The mathematical calculation would be a 20mm spacer, but I do not think they make one, you could go to a 24mm but that will limit the tire size (width).

Ok, so I can't figure out what exactly is needed in order to get wheels to work. In this case I guess will try to sell wheels. You can purchase wheels for $400 plus shipping. I might be going to 944fest and might be able to figure way to bring them, IDK due to size of wheels and smallness of interior.

What?
I gave you the information. It is not hard to get them properly mounted....hell, I have 18x8 55 et and 18x10 65et with no problem.
What is it that you are still trying to figure out?
