Default Late Transaxle in a early 83

Will a late transaxle fir in an 83 ??
I know it has the extra speed sensor, but it should work otherwise, correct ?

make sure the differential cover has all 3 bosses tapped for the early mount style. not sure if it will; the turbo trans i put in my car did not have all 3 holes so i had to make an adapter and modify the mount.

I believe it came off a late 85 donor vehicle. It's not a turbo trans.
I'm going to be putting it on tomorrow, so I need to know for sure.
Paging Frank ( Legoland951 ), he will know for sure.

if it has the three holes on the diff cover it will work, the opposite side already has the three holes
