Default Anyone have a good tdc sensor?

Anyone have a good tdc sensor for my '86 951? Part No. 911 616 108 00 I believe.

I know many people pull these but I'd like to keep mine. Looking for one in very good shape. Part is discontinued by Porsche and dismantlers are having a hard time locating.

Willing to pay a fair price. Thanks.

Check with ideola. He stocks them for the early 931s I think (used).

I can check my 87..if I have one, it is yours for shipping...

Pm me your address, not sure of it's condition, or if it works, but it is there..and I don't mind it not being there... if you can wait, I am pulling my engine in the next week or so, if you need it sooner, I can remove it tomorrow, or maybe even tonight if you ask real nice...

it is just a diagnostic plug.... I really don't need it, I have a mildly modified car, about to become a heavily modified car, and will be deleting everything that isn't needed in there anyway (and might just get rid of the reference sensors too if I go with a stand alone)

Say the word and it is off, cleaned up, and on its way to you!

You are doing a concourse restoration... my car will NEVER again see a concourse.... and I do mean NEVER.... I have the plug, but don't need it...

this reminds me, I need to order another TPS... I gave the one off my car to another lister... he needed it, and my car is just sitting parked...

it is a diagnostic piece, allows the factory techs to set TDC using a sensor to do it... also allows them to register TDC without jacking into the reference sensors or DME...

notice the plug on one end, and the sensor on the other... on a car NOT being serviced at the dealership (IF they even have the gear any more) or a concourse restoration it does little more than take up space...

FWIW, the plug sits over near the exhaust side of the motor IIRC....
