Needing some tail light sealer advice
I am getting a 2nd set of tail lights for the S2 clear coated at my bodyshop. Just wondering what would be a good product to reseal them with upon re-installation .
Thanks !

3M Window-Weld Ribbon Sealer 3/8" X 15' in a roll. Used it when I replaced one of my broken tail lights. I put the strip around and used my heat gun to soften the sealer and pushed it into place. Make sure to clean the car area real good for a water tight seal.

This has been very helpful guys! Thanks a bunch. I can't wait to get the tail lights back tomorrow they are going to look brand new! I am going to give napa a call tomorrow and see if they have the black goop.
Will post some pictures when the lights are all done.
I am currently running all red tail lights aside from the reverse light, which is left white.
Should be getting my collector plates in the next month or so, but the car must be in amazing shape, so the stock tail lights must go back in.

We'll hold you to that! I want to see how that butyl tape works (if you go with that). I might have to do a reseal myself, but I think my tail lights are leaking at the edges of the individual squares. Get the fishbowl in the brake light housing once in awhile. I already checked the rubber blocks at the latch pins and those are as water tight as a frog's butt.
