Your find definitely gets first prize. I'm going to throw mine in anyway because they're extremely idiotic.

In my first 944 (84) the po had installed a sub woofer in the rear compartment. Before he wanted to drill the mounting points for it he forgot to confirm where the fuel tank was. He drilled right through the tank on 6 spots. The car wasn't running when purchased, so you can imagine how alarmed I was at the amount of fumes I was smelling on the initial drive. Of course I had to replace the fuel tank.

I recently bought an 86' almost two months ago with another sound system that had been installed. I thought I'd seen it all until I discovered that the passenger side chair was broken because the genius po had put a 10 inch amp under the seat. In doing so he must have discovered that it wouldn't fit at some point but forced the floor bolts down anyway, which broke the moving mechanism under the seat. I don't even want to discuss the sloppy wiring along with the fuse, which caused a horrible power drain.

I don't think I can be surprised by po's anymore after the original post though. Good one.

When I was a kid I had teeth pulled before getting braces, unbeknownst to me the dentist stuck an envelope just like that into my shirt pocket. Must be some kind of sick dentist joke. As if I had any use for them at that point...

No way, dude thats freakin sweet! While cleaning my car I found a tennis ball, a empty Malboro pack, and a crap load of Starbucks stickers. Not overly odd, especially after reading the other posts, but geez, haha. Some people...got a good laugh out of this one.

As for the teeth..put them under the pillow. My nephew gets two bucks a tooth!

Well not so much as finding a foreign object, but I could not find the wire harness going to the drivers seat (power seat). I just found it in my left rear wheel well. The power connector has been hacked into for a power source for my rear amp!! Now I have to run some wires for both now to get it all squared away.

Oh and I found a working power trunk switch UNDER the drivers footwell carpeting! Sheesh. If it had been mounted properly, it could have been a selling feature!!

I found a black widow nest under the 951 recently. Well, I should say they found me Most violently and rapidly ill I have ever been in my life.

Also found a driver's seat held down by rope once.

i bought my car as a rotting carcass in farmer's field. had been raining into it for 3 months. mold was growing in the carpet and foam. while gutting the car, removed the seat and found moldy french fries.

+1... but a smaller one that fell out of the rear interior piece when I replaced the speakers. A kid probably dropped it down the seat beat hole... it did startle the **** out of me. Funny!
