id be curious to do an "autopsy" to see what it is in the structure of the 944 that allows it to take a beating like that

That sucks when you get something taken from you like this. Least your ok.

Mag-light...that's funny. I had a neighbor years ago who bought an old used whatever and kept hearing a damn thudding noise in one of the doors, can't remember which one. Got inside of it one day, and you guessed it; one of those big D-cell Mag-lights inside the door. I think the flashlight was worth more than the car was...
