Very cool. I like the Recaros.

I'm curious to see how they ran their Moton line. I'm assuming it comes thru the wheel well liner to try and shield it from the header heat.

I do always wonder though why go thru all the trouble of engine work when you can get a stock LS3 crate that has plenty of power, drivability, and a warranty? Hell, the stock crate LS7 would be waaaay more motor than you would ever need or could handle.

There you go, Patrick...

Keep your '86 Turbo (spinning through 3rd gear seems to be running great...), and now a high-quality V8 Conversion shop
for your "roller". See, there are people that know how to do things right -
you just need to poke around Rennlist a little to find them.

The best of both worlds...
Man, it must be your week.

I'll say it again myself:
Damned nice job, JohnKoa and Squire Tomasie.
You guys are top notch.

lol....the roller is little more than a dusty file cabinet right now. The girls have boxes of paperwork stacked on, in and around the poor thing right now. Last I heard they went to push it out of the bay and 2 tires are dry rotted/flat

Yes, I have to do something with it, and now that red is running great......well....it just doesn't make sense to have 2 turbos.

So when is there a turn-key central East coast shop opening?

With the S&P Headers nailed down, and becoming a SPEC clutches dealer, it's a step closer.

Yea, I'm excited. 944Fest has a great new sponsor, also.

I'm grabbing all the attention I can, but it takes a lot to finance such a venture...
I'm working my skinny **** off here -
Maybe I need to break out the "Investment Fishing Pole"...
OR, Kits could be heavily discounted for a top-notch builder.

Renegade (DJ Mann) may as well start spinning vinyl again...
I'm wrapping things up like a mummy down here, and Squire has the NorthWest covered.
There's even a Kit going to Iceland this month, and a set of headers to St. Thomas...

Thank you for the compliments, gentlemen.

If you supply the car and the engine, we could do the turn-key conversion for approximately $16,000. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I assume the car needs to have a worthy transaxle (951) and brakes.

That's a fair price for what you end up with.

Doesn't sound that bad considering the fit and finish.

+ you get a monster!

You have to look at it as a consummable not an investment. If you can have a 400-500 HP monster that looks good, is completely streetable, but can run with a Z06 or a 911, for $30,000, then you're getting a fair bargain. You have to assume that you'll use it up and sell it for a lot less than you paid.

But you have to want something custom or unique because, for the same money, you can have a used Z06 with similar performance, and built in this millenium.

definitely not much of an investment. 100 % sex usually ain't... and this is one seriously horny car.

but, with the proper gearing, and mobil one, this combination will not be consumed quickly, as you'll be turning down those rpms,

and keeping the engine fresh.

you'll need a 944 turbo tranny of course, as we've talked about before.

in case of my 968 swap, which is still years away, i'll need a the turbo 6th gear installed and do a tranny rebuild at that time.

Well, you did one hell of a job. Very clean, neat and kept a factory fit/finish to the install. WELL DONE
