drunk driving == bad things

Maybe somebody knows that he drives intoxicated. I have been known to do bad things to people who I know drive drunk.

PS- Nothing against you Perry. I think you are a great part of the board and deserve your 944 more than any of us (with all the heartache that you have had over it). But I don't think that people how drive drunk deserve cars, period.

Many times it's "Kar"ma. The guy who pulls into a parking lot with 1000 watts jamming at 3 AM often finds his car vandalized upon return. The guy who cuts off traffic going into a concert returns to find his lights bashed, and car keyed. The guy who parks in the front row taking 2 spots makes a good target too. Healthy people in handicap spots, ditto. I never inflict this delayed justice myself, but I've seen it firsthand. Sorry to hear about your bud's car.. either he's been in the wrong place at the wrong time (3 times?!?) or someone is trying to tell him something...

The keg was out on the deck of the house his car was parked by. The girls who lived there had it out there for a party later in the week. As I said, someone walked by, saw it, and thought it funny to toss it on the car.

Yea, eye for an eye... fine, find the dudes car and he can heave-ho the keg on his hood.

I agree drinking and driving is bad, and more often than not, I will call a cab. I know my limits, when I am DUI and DWI. I will fully admit I will have a few beers and drive home. Should I? As far as I know it is not against the law to do so as long as I am under the legal limit.

I can't speak 100% for Big E, but I do know most times he will sober up to a legal limit before driving home. We lost a friend back in our early days of youth, so we do know the consequences.

My point is this.. no matter if he parked it in the hood, or in Beverly Hills, there is no reason at all for this to happen.

No reason at all for this to happen. Simply jealous people unhappy with their own lives not giving a rat's a$$ about messing up other people's desirable property.

Makes me sick and upset and really wish those people will get what's good for them sooner or later.

Here in the city I will gladly pay to park in a garage with surveillance before leaving the turbo cab out on the street for some sorry a$$ goon to mess with it.

Tell Big E to park the car where it's less visible next time. Poor guy, he's almost as persistent as you are in fixing his car!

Tell Big E that he is part of a Grisham novel and doesn't realize it.
Next time he should catch a ride to where he plans to drink and leave his car at home.

Ya might also want to consider that there's a lot of hatred towards french and german products right now. Maybe his recent mishaps are a result of that. It's sad....but I can see it happening.

Perry,

That blows. I saw his GTI on your website, nice car--people are F***ed up. I am glad the only assaults my car has suffered were spit attacks(once on the rear hatch while I was at a bar, and once on a side window), and a door ding in my front fender--fairly minor. Although if I would have caught the bastard spitting, I would have made him lick the hatch clean. <img border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" title="" src="graemlins/cussing.gif" />

I don't think jealousy or hatred has anything to do with it. We had an idiot who lived next to us last semester. He was a real dipwad. My roommate and I nicknamed him Hippy. Anyway, Hippy was all the time having these people over partying on his balcony. They would sit their empty beer bottles on the up on the balcony rail, which is about 1 inch wide. At first I was parking my 951 right in front of there place because it was the only spots I could see from my window. One night some of Hippy's buddies parked his Honda in "my" spot. As usual they were out there on the balcony making a ton of racket on a Saturday night. It was real late, I was tired and managed to get to sleep despite the noise. (We had to go over on a weekly basis to tell them to shut the hell up)

Just about the time I was really started sawing logs, I was awoken by the sound of broken glass and laughter. I jumped out of bed and looked out the window to see Hippy and his pals out there laughing cause they had accidentally knocked the a Budwiser bottle off onto the POS Honda. To my surprise they then pushed the rest of them off, one at a time onto the faded turquoise hood of the 80's Accord. Then stood there and laughed, the owner didn't care, he was one of the ones throwing the bottles. I can't believe how stupid some people are. Needless to say I never parked my cars in front of there place again. It didn't do any good about a weekend later after one of their Friday night blow outs, I found a big ding in the side of my 951. Dime sized dent right in the middle of my right rear quarter. It chipped the paint and let like 4 inches worth of evidence pointing towards a white car. I knew it was one of his idiot friends, but I couldn't figure out which one, it was in December so school ended the next week.

Hippie had some bad things coming to him, for all the nights he disturbed our sleep, fortunately for him he flunked last semester and his parents reeled him back in, before we could counterstrike. I've realized that people who flunk out of college are about the dumbest breed of all people. I mean, jeez, who can't pass college? When living in a college town, you just have to consider stuff like this college tax. There's a higher % of idiots loose then in regular well balanced towns. During my 4 years here I have lived in 4 different complexes, each time it's gotten higher quality and more expensive yet there are still some fools who need to be Darwinated. A few months ago, some clown cut do-nuts in our gravel parking lot and did like $18k worth of damage to all the cars, fortunately my 911 was shielded by a big Dodge pick-em-up-truck. OH well enough ranting I've gotta do some work.

Perhaps the person who threw the keg wasn't aiming at his car or meant to hit his car?

Maybe they wanted that particular keg gone from that deck for a reason.....jealous boyfriend of some girl who was to attend said party or something like that. You did say it was full....I don't know many people who throw full kegs around. If anything, if the "thrower" was such an idiot - he/she would want that beer and would have just stole it, or perhaps they were throwing it off the deck to retrieve it later or something. Could be a keg robbery gone wrong.

I don't think this was an random act of the world being a bad place - that kegs was thrown for a reason and the person who knows why won't say because they are protecting/hiding something.

Tell Big E that his car was just in the wrong place at the wrong time - I don't think that keg being thrown has anything to do with him or his car. But, I'm just guessing here. The fact that it was full is the key.
