I have a 90 S2 Cab and when I turned on my wipers today they move about one half of an arc and blew the fuse. Replaced the fuse and same thing happened. anybody have any suggestions on where to start looking for the problem? Thanks for any help you can supply

You could flip the wiper arms away from the windshield and the replace the fuse and try the wipers.
This will reduce the load on the wiper motor. If that allows the motor to run full cycle then I would pull the firewall shield off and check for binding and or foreign objects that may be causing excessive friction.
While in there clean and lubricate the wiper linkage. On my 1987 944 NA electrical diagram there are six connections on the wiper motor. Pin 6 is ground pins 2, 3 and 5 are for the three different speeds of operation. Pins 1 and 4 appear to deal with intermittent wiper mode of operation. if you pulled the motor you could bench check it by applying ground to pin 6 and then 12VDC to pins 2,3 and 5 one at a time to check the 3 speeds. I do not know how much of this applies to your 1990 S2. Also bad electrical connections in the wiper circuit can cause excessive current draw and exceed the rated current draw, and good bye fuse. Look for corroded connections and clean with contact cleaner. Just some thoughts. Hope this helps you along.

The motor is going bad. A replacement would solve the problem. I've been through this too many times.

I believe I answered you on another forum. Do a SEARCH as it is your friend. Thought I would do the leg work for you. See below or buy a new/used motor.
