That is a connector for the left front brake pad sensor cable.
Is there a prize if I correct?

well the late cars shared the brake pad sensor and abs through that plug- if you had abs i guess there would be two wires in there instead of just the one.

Ok thanks reason Im asking is because the wiring loom is splitting and exposing the wires inside, so I want to replace the entire wiring harness. Know of a part number for this ?

Looks like the part number is right there on the side. Pop it open to see if the inside piece has a different number.

What's the thing that is kind of near it and the fusebox that has a little button you can push like a primer?

I think thats the button for the hood light, Cameron. only turns on if you have the parking lights on too though.

its for the alarm- the hood light works on a mercury switch-when the markers are on.

I used this special electricians tape.
Scotch 2242 Linerless Electrical Rubber Tape
I removed the broken down cover and then wrapped the wire bundle with this tape.
The trick to this tape is to stretch it as you wrap, once on it stays on and looks good. Worth a try.
If you would rather a new cable this might be it

I'm about 99% sure that its an airbag sensor. Its right below the windshield when you pop open the hood correct?

No airbag sensors under the hood.
