I recently used Mother's 3 stage on my Black '86 which has been resprayed (badly) at least once. It came up really well considering. It's a track car and therefore I'm not too fussed about stone chips and other blemishes.

What's the opinion of the Mother's range?

...there's nothing like that first drive after you've spent a few hours on a thorough wash/wax and detailing the interior, etc... I'll do the whole routine about once every two weeks but just spot clean in between. I'm with you on the brake dust...I have Fikse aluminum rims that start to look like crap once the brake dust accumulates...

I use all kinds of different stuff...I have a whole rack full of soaps, clay bars, waxes, cleaners and such...I use whatever I 'feel' like that day.

i hate detailing my car. I usually get about half way into it and decide its too nice out and go driving. THat being said im going to "try" to clay bar the car today.
