Post Rice?

the only way this might work without having a honda civic and a bowl cut might be if you have a guards red car with the red inserts. but even then, you wouldnt be able to drive with them on. rice or not rice? it all started with bmw so i dont know if this qualifies as rice or not.

Yhm, rice? yes. a big huge bowl of rice.

What's the point? to make your lights look interesting? Why not put the LED windshield washer lights and clean lenses all around too. I don't get it, it's just a waste of time and $.

This is a silly appearance mod that has nothing to do with a better driving experience, as far as I can see. If you want better lights, get some from iceshark, otherwise, save them for the civic.

If you think it might be rice, then, most likely it is rice.

I think of rice as items that offer no enhancement to the vehicle, and are typically garish in appearance.

Putting a large spoiler on a Civic is silly, it doesn't go fast enough to justify it. Putting a large spoiler on a GT3 race car however makes sense. It all has to do with application...

just my .02

In most states if not all you can only emit certain color lights to the front, rear and the sides.

Amber clearance/turn lights in front, red in back. No amber to the rear. Take a look at all of the newer cars.

So anything other than amber running and turn lights to the front is illegal.

The daytine driving lights have the same laws. White light (headlamps) to the front and red to the rear.

Note: the amount of tickets you receive may vary.

LOL! Yeah, rice that some undetermined critter crapped on and added insult to injury.

Don't waste you hard earned cash. The bid is at $60. Spend another $50 and do it right.

Those also appear to have city lights. Nice for the kwel factor and European regs, but not much else if you have working fogs. That is a 5 watt bulb which is stuck in the reflector. I don't hear anyone claiming that was not a problem in design keeping the same light focus/output than the lens that didn't have them. One good reason they are there is to let drivers know you are a two track vehicle if some of your lights burn out.

But Flea-Bay devotees, do what you will. At least my put options on the Flea are coming home to Papa.

It's so rice they had to use a Toyota for the demo pictures. I guess the Porsche they tried to use for the demo "rejected 'em like a bad organ transplant".

All gawds, that's _TACKY_!

I have a similar setup on my car, and the lighting over stock was great. Just because they're blue, that makes it rice? Naw.

Wink

Not my cup of tea

Notice they claim a "brighter look" not any actual increase in light output, but if you like the look go for it.

As far as them being rare, every few weeks someone post to one of the BBS's about similar lights so it seems that there are two or three vendors with ongoing ads at ebay.

If you email them most will sell you the lights outright so you don't have to pay the ebay "bid" price.

Personally I'm saving up my pennies for one of Iceshark's flame thrower systems, yeah it's not cheap but you get what you pay for.

You sound young and wild so WTF if it works for you buy um.
