Rice?
#19
Why do all of these poser riceboys try and make their car look like something it is not? Its really sad that when some new high end car (normally german) comes out with something new that every cheap *** little honda civic with ground scraping effects, a fart can, and a huge carbon figer adjustable wing needs one.
This is rice beyond rice. It is rice attempting to be saurkraut.
The greatest thing is that they try to be original, and end up trying to copy everything new off all the new BMW's and Porsches.
So if you missed it in the rest of my post my vote is a resounding RICE!!!

Do they throw in a copy of "The Fast and the Furious" and sushi recipes?
'None more rice"

That's so cool, imagine hordes of hypnotized guys in white baseball caps rolling around. "Yes master... my car is a pathetic ricemobile and I will only ever drive at six miles per hour from now on"

So, a large garish wing is "rice" when it is on a Toyota or Honda or..... Why is the same hideous wing acceptable if it is on a 996 ? Not a rice geezer, just confused.

well the wings are actually put into use on a 996. the civic is not (stock) capable of racing at speeds that would require serious downforce. also realize that not all downforce is created equal. the ones on porsches (for the most part) are created for the racetrack and are engineered to provide additional downforce. the aftermarket ones put on a civic have mostly no performance benefit, just cosmetic "appeal" because the people who buy these spoilers aren't actually intending to race

[quote]The HALO look is very similar to the latest feature used on the BMW 5-Series, except whatever color of bulbs you used inside will determine the color of the outer rim of the HALO Headlights.

very similar? how about total ripoff?
IMHO, very ricey
Then there's the fact that there are 2 more bulbs per headlamp to create the "ultra rare" ripoff effect. Will it have some side effects other than the obvious?

That is so sad that BMW made those lights. Don't they have researchers that can see how Ricey those lights are and that they will be copied right away (which they have), thus diminishing the whole concept???
I think any part on any car that has a "name" (i.e. "Angel Eyes") is Ricey. They are called "headlights"......period!!!!

If you think about it, you can say that about ANYTHING that comes out of Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, for starters, and any real racing (large wings that are actually functional, cross-drilled rotors, black wheels, etc, etc). Besides the 944 and Boxster rip-offs, there was always that "kit" to turn your Datsun into a 944 ("look"), and there will always be in the future. Besides the fact "xenon" has been ripped off for years now, with those piercing blue things coming the other direction in traffic.

So if the color of the bulb for the main headlight determines the color of the halo, are they telling you to put green/red/purple bulbs in as your main headlight bulb?
I'm confused, but the BMW looks great, and the lights in the ebay add look like a shop project.
