944GASM, I don't recal anyone talking about crossing the lane divider, or even doing over 100 on a "mountain road." None of us here are so stupid as to clip the apex on a blind corner!

I think we need to make a clear distinction between "street racing" and safe, "spirited driving"

At any rate, it sounds like you've never been out here before. Take this as an invitation!!!

I'll get you a good rate at my hotel!

By the way, anyone know of a good place to eat lunch in Penticton that would take a booking for 20-30 people,
thinking about a tour in May.

Mission Hill has a new chateau Mission Hill Winery don't know if they do lunch however, but heck, there's always wine tasting!!

Peckster, get out here fast! The skiing is AMAZING in Whistler right now.

Run of the year on Saturday 3/23/03 - Peak Chair opened at 12:30 after being closed for 3 days due to massive snow storm (330+cm base now). Temp around -8C, high wind 80+kph - but just as we got to the top, the skies cleared, sun came out - then they stopped loading any more chairs! 5 of us skied untracked Whistler Bowl, high traverse into West Cirque, down to Doom and Gloom and out to Grand Finale - all in boot top to thigh deep dry powder - over 3,000 vertical in that run.

Simply AMAZING in a resort the size of Whistler to get those tracks. Most impressive, looking back up to West Cirque at the top of Grande Finale, the slope slid right from the top and covered all our tracks! I watched a cornice block the size of a 356 roll down the face that we skied a few minutes before! Close call, but that's why patrol shut down the lifts for the day. As soon as we were out, the skies closed up again!

Sounds amazing, even though I have to relearn powder skiiing whenever I encounter it. Can't get out until April 9, but hopefully you guys will leave a few virgin runs for me?

jovic,

Nice to hear about the latest addition to your collection. You are a lucky man. Have you checked out the 92 Factory 968 Turbo RS for sale at Rennsport Porsche? You can check out pictures under lindseyracing.com (see customer cars for sale).

Ciao
