Not worth the trouble trying to figure out likes or dislikes for any one car. A person will buy whatever they like and can afford. Simple.

EXACTLY. you shouldnt care which car is better then which or which car is faster then another. when i was younger, my dream car was a white Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8. could i afford it?? if i really wanted to.. as i got older, my 944 grew with me and i realized alot about cars and their respective owners. now, my dream car is a GT3. things have changed.
all that matters is what the owner wants. end of story. period.

Who hates other cars?? I think this was just a notion perpetrated by another lister who seems to feel that anyone who likes their 951 must think it's the fastest car ever made. Rubbish. We all realise that is clearly not the case. Just because he 'races' against all manner of wildly modified US and Jap cars and sees what they're capable of, doesn't mean that we feel that our cars can beat any of these monsters. Sure, many of the guys that own these cars don't seem to do anything but street race (3 honks and blast for a couple hundred yards 
) or 1/4 mile them and nor do we see much evidence of these sort of cars racing at a proper track, but it's all ok. We understand that our cars are not the fastest or best handling or whatever the hell...They're just a remarkable little car that was designed back in the 1970's and with a few mods are pretty effective against much more expensive, powerful current technology. Do we hate these other cars? Of course not. Never did.

Same reason the 928 and 911 people hate other cars, narrow minedness. They are all great and who cares which model it is, just drive and enjoy. Me, I like them all.
