Unmodified............as it came from Stuttgart!
As many of our n/a brethren will attest to, it is difficult to get "extra" power from a non turbo model of Pcar. So I have taken up the cause of bringing my car as close to exactly original condition as possible...................just like the day she rolled of the Zuffenhausen assembly line!
Who else here has a pure unmodified car just like the way she cam from the factory?
I have to admit that I have changed the stereo.......

My 924S is basically stock. PO replaced the front speakers with a pair of Infinity Kappas (not the best install, but pretty good sound) and I replaced the busted Sony head unit with a Nakamichi.
Aside from that, the only thing that doesn't match specs are my gear ratios. 80 mph is 4,000 RPM for me. I can't figure out what was done to the transmission to get that, but it's nice to have a little spunkier acceleration.

Ouch that was good...you're enrolled in comic workshops up north aren't ya, Steve?
Mitsubishi mod, hahah. Maybe the Mitsubishi folks will buy me GT Racing quarter panels and a rear bumper.

My 86 is stock besides the addition of new stereo (Alpine 7941) and different speakers. I kept the old stereo just in case I want the car to feel more
"80-ish" though. I also got a new alarm (it has an odd non-factory key-alarm in front of the door. I didn't want the option to unlock the doors with the remote though, for the sole purpose of trying to keep it a little more original. There is also a 930S wheel (kept the old one, of course) and I am about to change the leather from the (original) shift boot. I wanted to buy another one to modify so I won't feel so bad. This is my first Porsche so I don't want to f**k it up.

I try only to go with mods that were actually offered as factory options for the car. Basically I retrofitted the whole Sport Suspension package as offered for the S. Plus a performance chip and a decent stereo.
