16" to 17" Alignment specs
Will the alignment specs change when I go from 16" design 90 wheels to the 17" Boxster take offs?
The car is aligned for the 16's right now, and the local trustworthy shop can't hook his machine up to the 17's.

There's a TSB on fitting 17" wheels onto cars that originally came with 16" wheels. Basically calls for using the upgraded caster mounts and increasing caster to 3.5 degrees.
Here's a link to a thread that has TSBs on both 17" & 18" wheels:

I just wanted to make sure my alignment specs are correct for my Mille Miglia Cup 3 Wheels:
Front 225/45 17 on 8 X 17
Rear 255/40 17 on 9 X 17

Far as I know an aligment's an alignment regardless of wheel size.
Those specs look fine for a street car.
Maybe a bit much camber at 1 degree in the rear, thoughts? That as compared to .4 degrees in the front would make the car want to plow (understeer).
