Pictures in the CL ad do not look like Silver Rose. More like Kalahari Gold.

Looks rough, so $6k isn't exactly a scam price. I bet it's real.

I know this seller, he is a customer at our shop... but I have not seen the car in person (he has another 88 951 at the shop currently). I talked to him about the car once, it seems like a great deal, and would be worth checking out for sure! Those pics were taken at Redbone Garage, I wonder why he would have one car over there, and one car here at Zotz?

Elliott,

You work at Zotz? Ron Zitza did the track talk at our instructors' school in 2008 and it was one of the best I've seen. He's a fountain of knowledge.

Hey Mike, I work at Zotz Garage (a.k.a. the "street shop") whereas Ron owns and operates Zotz Racing (the race shop). I do work with Ron and Zotz Racing on occasion at the track events with the race team, but not at their actual shop. And I must agree, Ron is indeed a very well experienced and well knowledgeable track expert!

I talked to this guy 3 weeks ago about this car when I was in Florida...before he had pictures posted on the ad. From the what the guy said, it needs interior and paint. The odometer doesn't work, so no telling how long it's been on the new t-belt. Looks to be worth 6k, but probably a better candidate for a track car than restore. I didn't go look at it when I passed through Orlando, but seeing the pictures I'm kinda wishing I had. The body doesn't look as bad as he made it seem, so I'm wondering about the interior. Elliot, if you wind up looking at this car, let me know what you think about it - will be in Tampa again next month.
