Soon. I am shopping for engines right now. I am going to be ordering the xmember pretty soon. I'll pick up the major components pretty quickly and fill in the gaps as I go.

I'm running the stock 951 radiator with no cooling issues.

The only issue I've had with the car in the 3 years it's been on the road, is clutch disengagement issues at high rpm (6200 plus). Searching the Vette forums I found that Tick Performance had the fix (larger bore clutch M/C Tilton). Problem solved

It's easier (and cheaper) than that DVC. A custom clutch pusrod clevis and $79 Wilwood or Tilton compact master cylinder...

Tilton 7/8" master cylinder with Kawasaki side fed reservoir on a custom powder coated mount, equals effortless 6700RPM shifts:

I should have known you had it covered, Travis...
You read my mind Bro.

I see an adapter plate lurking behind that MC.

You can grind/mill off a few mm's from the Wilwood MC body and it fits like a glove. It's the damn nuts that are a major pain to tighten down... Crow wrench with a swivel extention and a whole lotta patience.....
Yes, your car is the shizzle...A Hayabusa Front alloy reservoir works nicely as well in that wedge area.

the ls1 aluminum engine with everything installed puts the front of the car about 30 pounds over the porsche engine. about 20-25 pounds less than the turbo engines.

that's the real number.

DVC, i was smart enough to save the documentary video to my computer because i have a program that saves all youtube and other mp4 clips.

i can no longer find the link to the original 30 minute video.

Can you give us a source on all 3 of those numbers? Would be nice to end the debate, I've heard all sorts of guesses.

I have a turbo motor and a LS1 sitting in my garage if anyone wants to weight them. The turbo is a light weight block, in that it is missing some of the cylinder wall material.
