That car is not being parted. I have another hood in better condition that is being swapped onto it. Moot point anyway, because it unfortunately has a sunroof. I am contemplating a de-sunroof exercise.

Do you think that could bolt on my 87 944t?

I'm sure that others with more of a clue than I can answer this more accurately, but my understanding is that, yes, the hood will bolt to an '87 so long as you don't have a stress bar/strut bar/whatever you choose to call it because the scoop will interfere with the bar.

However, the 931 hood is meant to be used with a prop bar versus the hydraulic struts that our cars have so you'll have to rig something up for that... or use a broomstick.

I'm sure I'll be corrected for any inaccuracies.

BB.

Yes, all 924/944 hoods are interchangeable. But Mr. Brewster ^^^ is right about the hood prop vs. hydraulic struts. Strut bar would probably be a problem depending on the design of it. The other thing to watch out for is that adjustable Konis might be too tall and will put a reverse ding in the NACA duct. This can be fixed by putting a small (1/2") spacer on the underside of the upper strut mount.
