Those gers for 01E can be bought from Norway for 13-15K€...
Shifter manufacturer told me it wont work with 016 tarnsmissions.

500rwhp 3.0ltr Turbo and sequential whining tranny banging with some flames from exhaust sounds kind of nice. If I win in lottery someday, that's the project plan. ,)

The SQS sequential shifter requires extensive body modifications as it sits 10 inches above the transmission. It also required dog type engagement gears to get the most use of it.

OK, I nominate the Swedes and Finns for the sickest innovations in the 944 / 951 world...

I love the idea, not in love with the price tag, but love the idea...

OH, and IIRC running a fuel cell in the boot as opposed to the stock fuel tank behind / above the transmission will free up enough space for this setup.. just add in a shifter cable and go.... no other body mods required! But isn't a fuel tank mod required for the 6 speed install anyway?

But as usual, I could be wrong!!!!!
