20mm offset wheels on late offset car?
Sorry if this has been discussed somewhere but I couldn't find it in my searches. I did find via searching that these are probably Riken mesh wheels and it looks like they're on early offset cars only.
My question is would they fit on my late offset? '87 n/a. The seller did not post width, but the tire size is 205 55R16 and the offset is 20mm. That's pretty much early offset right?
I saw that some early cookie cutters fit on late offset if they're a certain width, but have no idea about these or how they would look.

Three Wheelin'
for the most part...no.
with those tires and a lot of camber you might be able to get them to fit, that's a pretty low offset, so it's very questionable. The only cars i've seen running cookie cutters that are late offset are running a ton of negative camber to allow the wheel to clear the wheel arches.
that's the best i can do for you, maybe someone else will chime in with their experience.

Well that sounds like what I've been thinking. Too bad though because they're pretty and only $350 for the set. Wish I could find wheels in that price range for my late offset.

I have seen some folks put "cookie cutters" which are early offset, on a late offset car, but imhom they don't look right. They sit too wide out and nearly hit the fender lip. Keep looking.. Theres a fella with 16" late offsets, with rubber for $500 out here. I bought some 15" phone dials for about $250, no tires. and a set of 16" 968 wheels for even less. Just be patient.
