Default No Spark, 84 944

Out of ideas, Looking for the answer to the no spark problem.

There is no spark or tach bounce when the motor is cranked over.

Both Reference and speed sensors are good.
The wiring harness appears to be good and the DME was also check and worked in a different car

Is there any other places to check witch could cause No spark and No tach bounce

What makes you believe the sensors are good? Has the spacing been checked (setting depth)? If the sensors were good, the DME was good, and the harness was good, you would be getting tach bounce and spark.

The sensors have a Resistance of around 900 ohms ( I have two sets both read the same), so i believe the are good. The harness has continuity so that should be good also.

Resistance is only a quick check for shorted windings. I'd check their spacing (depth).

You asked for advice and you got it. Next time go to SEARCH and type in NO SPARK. You do not have TACH Bounce so the Speed sensor is out of spec clerance. Check out the ref. below and read it.

you need to tell us what you've tried so far with what result. What does 'wiring harness appears ok ' mean ? have you done any tracing ?

Have you checked the 12v supply to the ignition switch and then to the coil ? could have a faulty ignition switch ,checked the earth from the coil ? checked and cleaned all the main earths ?
Checked the rotar etc ?
With a 26 year old car its likely to be poor connections /earthing problems or you've disturbed something whilst doing other work maybe?

I'd search for 'no start 944' there are plenty of excellent check lists on Rennlist and elsewhere.
You need to get hold of a electrical schematic and work your way through it to aquaint yourself with whats involved in the starting system, then systematically work your way through it.
