Master/Slave question-already searched

It's very unlikely that anything is wrong with master or slave. It is difficult to bleed a completely dry system. If you disconnect the line from the master then you can 'bench' bleed it in the car. I bolt the salve into place so the piston is in its normal clutch released position. It's also good to have the rear end of the car higher than the front so the air in the slave goes toward the bleed nipple.

So I'm not sure if it was just an air pocket or if the slave needed bleeding before installing.....but half gallon of DOT4 and a power bleeder with the slave out of the car and it's good to go. Thanks as always for the help guys

Before I had a power bleeder, I once replaced the master without bench bleeding. Now THAT was a long day of pumping the clutch pedal! Last time I did it, I bench bled the master and used the Motive, and it was a 5 minute bleed job. Live and learn I guess...
