now , acrused car gritter lorry smashed my drivers side window
1988 944s my 1st car
right my odmator and history states my mileage 110000ish, was 103000 when brought, had the head gaskit go on clinder 3, run it about 2000 mile on it cas most places were saying the white smoke on start up and lost of coolent were many things, tht all started with a water pump and belts roller replacement, which looking at wat came off didnt need doing, but as the history told was replace ten years ago, anyway just had a top end rebuild and new disturbour cap, still got white smoke!, rought cold ididel, but no more misfire, once the car warm it runs fine, better then factor spec of 0-60 7.9 im hitting about 6.5 6.9 but how acturate the passnger is with d stop wacth leaves debate.
so, my £2400 car has now cost about 6000 not counting insurance, 18" wheels 2nd hand £500 with wrong size miclien pilot sports n3, so 4 new prilles went on £900, belts rollers and waterpump, power streeing pump and belt, bottom ratdater hose, wing mirror glass new oil , 2nd change fillter, air filterr plugs hood emblem, tax, windscreen, wripers floor mats and gear gater, head gaskit set, passnegrs door handle, rear spoiler, lifetime stanless steel exsusted with twin outlet, which i think fills d rear vancle gap better, all in 6 months ! last night a griter lorry drove past and smashed my drivers side window!!!
i brought d car from a merchaince in corn wall 360 miles away from my house, asking price was £3000, after my resheach it was idealy looking 4 a turbo or s2, after relising how much a picture can hind, i seataled 4 the lows milage i could find, little did i no it wasnt a simple front bumper swap, 2 get tht turbo look, my dad drove the then dentless car 360 mile bak and it was perfect, no over heating leacks or noiseys, apart from 2 silt blows ind exsuhst, was a shock the frist time i filled it up £87 full tank!
life of an engine? -------?
my merchain, says the engines probley really tired and worn, based on this millage and age, and i could keep pouring money in 2 it with little succse, e.g a bottom end rebuild, so my question is how long and how hard do u drive urs?
i love it, but every week theres been a fluat, crused car? iv had 2 punchers all ready both in 2 tires one was 2 weeks after fittment,

Sorry guys, drunken man losse on d keyboard. I didn't mean 2 post, there 4 lost d chance 2 check it over. Basicly wat is the life expentency of 944 engine?
