Default Fuchs Wheel fitment question

I have a 1986 944 Turbo with the optional Fuchs 16" x 7" & 8" wheels. I like these wheels and the period look but would really like to fill the rear wheel wells out. Is there a 16 x 9 inch Fuchs wheel available with the correct offset for my '86? Has anyone tried-out the 16 x 9 replicas? Lastly, I've considered a modest sized wheel spacer for just the rear wheels but don't want to create any bearing issues. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for your input.

I've got a set of 16" Fuchs, the real deal. The centers are painted yellow. I'm gonna dismount the rubber and post soon. Let me know what you need to know.

yes, the factory 9x16 Fuchs, used on 911 Turbos (and fit on many an SC and Carrera) will fit just fine.. Plus you can move your 8s to the front if you want. For a while 9x16s were pretty expensive, but since there aren't many 16" tire choices, perhaps their value has fallen a bit. However, finding real ones for under $1K might be hard nowadays.

As for tire sizes, you can run the same 225/245s on 7/8 or 8/9 wheel combos. Someone makes a 265/16 but they are a bit tall and would hamper acceleration.

16x9 930 Fuchs on the rear of my car in my avatar, with 16x8 951 Fuchs on the front.

As mentioned, they 16x9's came on the 911 Turbo cars. They have carried a rather large premium over the last few years but the prices have dropped (based on recent ebay transactions) down to the $1200-$1600 used for a pair in good to very good condition. I know there is a set for sale right now on Pelican, I think the guy is asking for $1600 or so but I'm not certain.

I also have a black set in 17"
Are you thinking of selling these also? Any pics or details would be good. I know someone who may be interested also.

Yes, I want to sell both sets. One set of four in 16" have yellow centers, the black set of four is 17" and currently has Michelin slicks mounted. Both are off a race car that I just sold. I want to clean them up and take pix, will be getting around to them soon, if you're in a hurry or want to be first, $$$ talks.
For now, here's what I'm talking about;

What are the widths on the 17's? Who is the manufacturer? General condition? If you could give an idea of what you are looking to sell them for that would be great, thanks~

OK guys, sorry for the delay, but I got these wheels dismounted now and I cleaned them up a bit. Porsche Part # 911361020, 15 x 7, you will see these at Pelican for over $1,000 each. I suspect that they're very hard to find. Round and true, used but in storage for years.

Make an offer.

V2R,
not sure what a CGT front end is, but to your other question the tow hook attaches to a frame member, this car is a full Riley/Scott tuber.

Hello gums, Just a reminder and not ment tp be mean. As per Rennlist Sticky you must post a PRICE, " NOT MAKE AN OFFER." This not an Auction Site.

Cheers,
Larry

From my understanding, you want $1000 per wheel for a set of 15x7s?
