Reviving an old thread. What tool is used to install/remove these?

Standard M8 12-point socket, and standard small snap ring pliers.

Any group buy renewal in forseable future? I'd be interested in a set.

I sincerely appreciate the interest, but unfortunately, a group buy no longer makes economic sense.

Firstly, these items are now a stock item that I have on hand at all times.

Secondly, since the time that I worked with Stage8 to develop these and bring them to market, a couple of the big catalog resellers have started to offer them and have tried to push me out of the market by undercutting me on price.

Thirdly, Stage8 has increased their wholesale price every year.

We have never increased our pricing since we first introduced these, so we unfortunately can't justify doing discounts on these given the competitive landscape.

My request is that you consider supporting guys like me who are innovating and finding solutions like this to bring to market.

The bolts have changed a little bit since the initial batch as well, my original set ended up breaking at a track day recently and i think they rusted a bit. Newer sets have been plated and shouldn't have this issue.
