Can someone please confirm if this is a 3.0 16v or 2.5 16v head? Thanks

Measure the bore diameters. 100mm is 2.5 and 104mm is 3.0.

PRetty sure thats an S2 head but i would measure as well. The S2 has an extra boss for the tensioner mount that the S did not have.

You can also tell by the water passage if you flip it over. the passage looks like a poptart with a bite taken out of it. They have poptarts in the UK, I checked.

wow, the main and obvious difference is the location of the water jacket, all 2.5L have the water jacket in the same spot, the 2.7L & 3L heads have the water jacket flush to the front of the head

2.5L 8 valves
2.5L 16 valves
2.7L 8 valves
3.0L 16 valves

so you know the 2.7 block is actually a 3L block just like the S2
