Default What to do with a 250,000 mile 944?

My 944 has 255,000+ miles, and is in good mechanical condition, but needs some body work that I cannot perform due to my current living situation, so I want to get rid of it before it deteriorates. What do you guys think is the best way to sell it? eBay, craigslist? I have a feeling there isn't too much of a market for cars with a quarter million miles, haha.

keep it and drive it for another 750,000 miles. make it one for the record books.

the old W123 mercedes diesel sedans that u see everywhere in middle east and africa are well documented to be able to survive for 1million miles and beyond.

Let the local high school or vocational school do the body work... Should only cost you in supplies, they can work on a *porsche* and then you can drive it for another 250k miles.

If it's an early car with 5-digit odometer, just do like most PO's and swear it's a low-mileage 50k survivor...

Seriously, why not just drive it? Is the damage so bad it can't be driven? How about a picture?

As far as selling it, everything under $5k around here is on Craigslist. eBay has jacked up their fees considerably. Do you want to screw around with delivery to an out of towner, or deal with potentially fake checks? CL is the way to go.

Only sometimes, my cars PO was straight up that he didn't know how many miles it had. I don't either, the ODO has never worked since the day i got it. Miles are just a number anyways.

Keep it, mine probably has about 220,000. My odometer has stopped a few times now. it would be nice to see another one saved.

It's supposed to be azure blue, but when the sun hits it directly it looks lighter.
