Post Who penned the 9XX sillouhette

Does anyone know who actually penned the 924/944/968 series of cars, or was it a design studio collaboration ?.

Harm Lagaay was working for Porsche when he designed the 924. Not sure if he penned the 944 though...?

Yep, Dutchman Harm Lagaay, working under Anatole Lapine, did the prototype that Pedro951 posted (cool shot, BTW!)....then somebody else in the design dept. refined the design to make it a little crisper and less rounded. The flares on the 1979 924 Carrera concept, which really spawned the look of the 944, were the work of Lapine.

I don't think the photo is from 1973. The car is, but the photo was taken later on. I *think* one of the ones in the background is a 944.

Ya, you may be right that black one looks like it might be a 944. I suppose also if the prototype wa built in '73 and there is a full fledged 924 beside it, it has to be later than '73.
