Craigslist find
Hello All,
I just came across this in my local CL. It might be a good deal for someone. I just don't have the time. It's a 83 944 w/a locked up motor.

idk, buying it for parts might get you going well.
i sold a manual rack out of an 83 for almost 300 one time. the manual windows will get another 100 or so, the manual roof will get about 50. depending on the interior condition there might be other stuff that is useful. the engine could be another 300, the trans 150. ur at like 800 from those parts alone, make him an offer of like 500 for the car and youd be golden

Agreed with everybody! I have bought an 86 944 for $500 and 79 924 for $250, both from craigslist, both in way better condition, both with running motors, and I've seen a dozen or more other great deals such as these. For $1000 I better be getting a limited slip or the engine better be plated in gold!

My first interview for a salaried job after graduation was for the role of Word Magician at a software company. I knew nothing about computers, software, or what to expect from a company that had job titles like "Word Magician." I drove to the interview with a friend who was also going to an interview at an engineering firm near there. We agreed that if we both received job offers, we'd ask to start a month out and then go to Ibiza for a couple weeks. In hindsight, I probably should never favorably compare myself to Shakespeare during an interview for a writing job. Neither of us were offered roles in the respective companies, and I still have never been to Ibiza.
