Spark plugs/wires
Ok, I need to change the spark plugs, and the spark plug wires for my 88' 924S. The freaking spark plug wires are completely rotted, and they are starting to shoot out sparks. The owner before me really didnt keep maintence to the car. Anyhow, I was wondering what type of bosch spark plugs should I go for? Bosch Plat? Bosch Silver?
Next, what type of spark plug wires would I need? And should I get performance spark plug wires instead of the OEM's? I'm looking for the wires to last, and atleast give my car the power it needs.
Finally, what sites can I order these items from?

Yes he did. He's for real, the car's for real and the turbos are for real (very well hidden though)
Anyhow, The consensus (search the archives) seems to be on copper plugs. I would just go with oem stuff. Paragon should list everything that you need online.

I went with OEM Copper Bosch spark plugs and OEM Beur Wires. Paragon Products doesn't list the OEM wires on their site, but I am sure they can get them. Or you could get them from Pelican Parts (my other favorite parts place).

Amaf,
I also went with Jacobs wires. I think they were about $48 with shipping. Let's see if this works.

P.S. - I was the guy who formally greeted you at the meet up in NJ last week.

If your wires were arcing sparks then you will see a happy motor when you get new plugs and wires.
I can't tell you how many times I have seen new wires cure some bizzare motor gremlins

I recently installed the 8mm wires Paragon sells, they have the same beru ends that the OEM wires have and better wire than either the OEM or any of the cheaper (nology, magnecor etc.,that don't have the right ends) wires. They are still alot less expensive than the OEM set at under $160 shipped to NJ! I'm very happy with them.
I'm currently using Bosch Platinums (single electrode), but I plan to switch back to copper next time I change 'em.

Do you have some pics of this 350HP 924? Any Dyno runs? Who did the conversion and what are the details?
Personally I think you FOS but I could be wrong...it has happened before.
If this is a real car I will drive up to NJ to see it. Seriously.

Okay I'm thinking quad turbo 944! One exhaust pipe, one turbo, blowing into one intake runner each cylinder. Should be good for what... six thousand HP?
