I would take that engine if it were pink with purple polka dots!

Looks great David,,I see the intake was a quick turn around! Are you running an aftermarket oil cooler and is that TB bored out? Which turbo and injectors did you end up with?

Thanks for the coments, let me answer some questions.
Chris, you are welcome to come by, shoot me a PM if you want directions.
Paul, car is white ( Avitar is me ), 3' intake and I have not been able to get the A/R on the compressor housing explained to me either.
Ski, Jet Hot was a quick turn around, 25 row Mocal oil cooler, TB is bored, 72 lb low ohm PH injectors and the turbo is a TO4E 60 trim #8 turbine (Extrude Honed and Swain's White Lighting)
back to the hot garage

David- is it in yet? I can't wait to hear how it turns out... BTW, I know this may be a stupid question, but I've never looked at these engine's out of the car, or from these angles before- in the first and second pics, connected underneath the oil filter, are two big SS lines- what are these exactly? Did they come w/the engine, or were they extra or what?

Tabor, balance shafts are gone
Robby, the SS lines are not stock, I am replacing the stock lines and oil cooler with the SS lines and a large Mocal oil cooler.

Which Mocal did you use? In front of the radiator or to the side?
Hope all is going well. That is one large hole on the turbo inlet <img src="graemlins/drink.gif" border="0" alt="[cherrsagai]" />

As far as I know bigger A/R = more of a high end turbo...
The A means Area...the R I don't remember...maybe radius?
An A/R of 50 I really dont know where that falls in the range...guess I'm pretty useless eh?
Either way, great looking engine...wanna trade? <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

Looking good David <img src="graemlins/bigok.gif" border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" />
What all did you have coated? I plan to do everything from the headers to turbo and the down pipe as I have stuff off of my car in the future. I am interested in your thoughts on the coatings after you fire it up and see how much less heat you have under the hood. Good Luck!

It's off the hook
tazman, Jet Hot Sterling, intake, SFR intercooler pipes and master cylinder heat shield. The turbine housing has Swain's White Lightning and my blown budget forced me the use DEI wrap on the headers, crossover and down pipe.
Alan C, hear is a shot of the 25 row Mocal
Adrial, you are right about the Area/Radius. In Maximum Boost it talks about A/R with the turbine but I can't seem to find anything to do with the compressor.
