Exactly how I did it. Broke an easy out on the allen bolt because it's really hard steel. Took a slightly larger Torx and popped it in with a hammer. Slowly increasing my pressure on the Torx bit I was able to get the allen bolt out. Good luck.

Oh yeah, don't forget to 'wake up' the bolt with a few pops with the hammer. You don't have to kill it and warp your floors. Just tap that bad boy.

i just used a regular handheld dremel and one of the brown cutoff wheels to make my groove.

and you can even see the little brown cutoff wheel in the pic. and it's like $3 for a pack of 20 extra wheels.... you will break some, so be sure to wear eye protection!

nopw that i look at it, that's the single speed version... mine is the multi-speed, but i always turn it on high, so i guess that it wouldn't matter!
