Throttle Respone Cam

You definitely need to take the slack out of the throttle cable and possibly adjust the stop under your accelerator pedal. Which one did you order and from where....it should include instructions. If not, I could fax you mine.

Its really simple, I just had to adjust the throttle cable a little bit after I put it on and that was it. like schnellfahrer said "one nut off, one nut on" simple as that. good luck and enjoy.

Really simple just check the stop under the pedal otherwise you'll stretch your cable or break it when you stomp the pedal down. I had to adjust mine about a 1/4" or so.
These don't add horsepower, but they do make the response a bit better....I like it on a 944, but onthe turbo its not so hot.

What this gizmo does is to change the pedal response from log to linear. With the Porsche system, each time you put your foot down a bit more, you get a bit more power. With the circular cams, you get a lot of power at the beginning, then almost none is left at the end.
Not only that, but (HERESY!) if you use the cruise control on 500km throughway drives, the cruise has problems at low power and tends to hunt.
I took mine out and put back the Porsche original. Like it much better.

As cheap as they are it's worth trying. If you don't like it, someone here will buy it.
