Repost - didn't take 1st time?

DoN listen up: Just because you started this post doesn't make you the God of this thread. Other people have the right to post their opinions about how they think the car looks just as much as you do. When someone states they think something is rice its not meant to be a personal attack on you, just advice. The fact that you took it that way and reacted so defensively belies your sensitivity which is a sure sign of immaturity. I see this type of thing in my teenagers all the time. Most teenagers are so sensitive about not being taken seriously or sounding ignorant that they lash out at anything they think might be the least bit condecending. Mature people don't act that way.

I emplore you to post an apology. It will be difficult for you I know, but if you don't you will go down the road of amaf and be ridiculed mercilessly. You will have thrown away the best resource you could possibly have if you decide to buy one of these cars (unless you change your name and start acting differently). If you do (apologise), you will win back the respect your were given default before you threw it away, at least from a lot of us. I don't think you have the maturity to do so.

Which door will you choose? I'm pretty sure I already know, but I'd like to be suprised.

I wondered how long it was gonna be before amaf's name appeared in this thread

At the tender age of 41, lots of posters on this board seem very young to me. However even the young ones ( most of 'em anyway) are well informed and mature and a credit to this community.

I at first defended you, but no, not anymore.

Lets say you walk into a big Porsche get together, you ask to see some people's cars with "body kits"...some people show you some nice cars, others tell you not to mess with the original design and you will come to appreciate it more when you get older. You then proceed to call them ignorant...numerous times...do you think you're gonna get anywhere after that?

You asked a moderator to "lock this stupid thread." HAHA Good luck...We can actually say what we think here without worry that the big mean moderator comes and deletes/locks threads...as long as we keep it clean of course.

Oh, and I think I speak for everyone that tried to help you when I say " YOUR WELCOME ". Oh thats right...you never said Thank You.

Let this kid go back to the Rice Forums and talk about how he's killing Z06's in his VW... you all are wasting your time with him.

They probably uploaded the photos on the Rennlist server. They stay on this server for I think three months and then they are deleted.

They aren't removed I don't think, it's just that the coding for images and quotes and such is in a different format than the older style, so they don't show up right.

Thats so retarded. I'm 17 and i can see this kid is somewhat ignorant. and one of the ways he's ignorant is in that he doesn't know that most 944 people don't do body kits and such, like most other cars, (bmw, honda, etc.)
so he probably expected there to be people on here that would be like, okay here's this and that. Of course he's gonna get offensive when one of the first replies he gets is, if your using the term body kit, you must be into rice. cmon now. alot of us here don't like the rear end of the 944 as much as we could. so lets just cut him a little slack, just a little.

Does anyone have any of the pics of body kits that were originally uploaded to this thread ? I'd love to see some of the kits. Can someone repost ?

I wonder if the kid would like the rear end of the 968 better ?

I own a 944, but i am quickly falling in love with the looks of the 968, particularly the front end, tapered hood, exposed headlights, and 968 S splitter.

These are the ones I posted, but they're not a 968. I believe they're from the Fibrewerks site:

Body Kits? Cars that were made so perfect from the factory dont need body kits. If Toyota could get a car right the first time, maybe there wouldn't be that many body kits for them either. You dont see too many body kits for Porsche, and if you find them, they are overly expensive.

In my opinion, the new Mr2 is a cheap wannabe Boxster that could never pass the way it comes stock.

In my opinion, the 944 has one of the best looking rear ends ever designed.

I dont think any japanese company has ever designed a truly passion-invoking car.

If you dont like the 944 rear end, why would you even consider it? AND come asking in the 944 boards? We are all here because we are pressed on the 944. If you want to learn about the 944, this is the place. If you want to dis the 944, you are gonna get it right back at ya.
