The w8 would be nice in a 944, but 4motion in a 944 would really be amazing!

a chip and more boost brings you the same hp from a 951.

Such parts are never (almost) bought new from factory, that is why they are so artificially expensive. My Veedub dealer once wanted $2000 (yes two thousand) for a VW golf carbeurator. These go for a couple of hundred bucks rebuilt. I guess they did not sell to many of thoose.
