Post atlanta salvage yard

I came across a web site for a salvage yard outside of atlanta. I can't remeber the web address. They had a ton of pictures of 944 that they are parting out. Does this sound fimilar to anyone?

You people will hate me, but I've yet to have a bad experience with Auto Atlanta, and I've been going there for a long time... I guess they are better in person than mail order? I've heard bad things about their mail order, but I always go and pick up what I need...

pap-parts was the one. Has anyone had any experience (did I spell that right!!??) with these guys as in buying a motor?
Things in Goodlettsville are great. Love this weather the past few days. If you ever get up this way, e-mail me, we will have a 944 meet!

The website for Pap is
<a href="http://www.pap-parts.com/store/home.asp" target="_blank">http://www.pap-parts.com/store/home.asp</a>
I also have had good experiences with Auto Atlanta. I have heard the stories but in person they aren't so bad. They always seam like they do not have time for you though. If you can get past that your ok.

I would not buy anything from PAP - Joe is the name of the main guy there and he did NOT treat me right. He is located up by Dahlonega. I went up there a couple of times a long time ago for small parts that were sitting around rotting in open cars anyway and he wanted way too much money for them. He also sold me a pair of chips which I think possibly ruined my injectors and then refused to take them back and give me a refund. He has sold a lot of parts on ebay and his feedback is terrible. He recently started operating under a new screen name - probably to get away from all that bad feedback.

If it's 20th Street in AZ, then I have to say that the once time I ordered a part from them it was a hassle free experience.

all i have to add is i bought a sway bar from PAP-parts and had no problem. but then a sway bar is a sway bar as long as the size is what they advertise on ebay.

And as frustrating as it is, I try to understand why this happens. The best rationale that I can come up with is that they don't want to be bothered by small orders in which they make very small profits. Unfortunately for them, I walk out disgusted, and don't go back for orders (big or small).
There is a newer outfit here in StLouis called Pick-A-Part (I think). No, Porsches but a lot of other german cars & prices are extremely low - a perfect place to pick up those little parts that can eat you alive (washer pumps, steel control arms, wiring connectors, misc bolts, etc.). Of course, you have to bring your tools and retreive the parts yourself. A perfect Saturday morning adventure. Bruce

You might try Ian at <a href="http://www.ianseuroparts.com" target="_blank">www.ianseuroparts.com</a>

I have had good dealings with Ian and he is a Rennlist sponsor also.
