Can you believe this? Another racer had the same issue the day before. I think there is a problem with the Sachs clutch disc.

I would never put anything from China on my car. I was looking for a waterpump and found one for a great price. It had a German name. When I did a serch on the company it turned out to be a company from China.

Same here. Mine is basically shot. We have lost about 4 or 5 clutches this year in the NW 44 cup, some of them very new. Mine was two track years old. One was like 1 race old.
It is quite possible these just don't make good race clutches. From what I hear Greg Fordahl is looking into alternatives based on this experience.

....and just think schwank, we're about to run a 24-hour enduro tomorrow on that same type of clutch...or worse...a rubber clutch.

Hum, looks very much like what happened to mine! I'll try to find a picture of it. All this time I thought it was my heel and toe that was wrong! Well maybe it was wrong but it might not have been all my fault !
