944 Bumper Pad Mod
I have been debating a front bumper pad mod on my 944. I like the look other than the small gap where the pad and the turn signal meet. I came across this car and thought I'd share it with you guys. I like this 'cause it remedies the gap and kinda has that euro bumper look.
My question is... HOW? How do you cut the pads and have them looked finished?

Interesting idea. It would be cool to get a close up picture of one of the pads.
I would think marking them and cutting them with a bandsaw would be the way to go. And once they are cut you would probably need to sand down the edges to round them out.
Seems like a worthwhile project especially if you have a spare set of pads to test out on first.

^^ I like the rear bumper alot. I might consider removing the pads from the rear bumper......but...
The front needs something. I don't really like the big pads it has on it, but it does need some kind of pad. The small euro pads look good on our big bumper.

"Seems money and time consuming. Buy a euro bumper. This way your car will stay factory and look much better." Maybe true in Greece but euro bumpers are quite expensive here. Conversely, a spare U.S. spec front bumper with pads can be had for next to nothing here. There's no doubt the euro bumper looks best though.... maybe you can get us all a good deal on some from there?

Time comsuming and you still have holes to fill in and paint. I'd like to see thick rubber all the way across the bumper. I just had to replace a bumper shock because some idiot backed into me. I hate parking lots.

2nd re euro bumpers being easier said than done. Expensive and a hassle to get them here. I am hoping to go fiberglass.
