Forza 3 gets the 944 wrong, again
Well the tail lights look better, but the flag mirrors are rounded too much on the outer edge, the wheels are just plain wrong (not even the correct era) and the center caps read "Carrera 4", and the horsepower rating is wrong - the 1989 should have 247hp not 217...
I'm glad they finally allow custom color values so I can finally have Zermatt Silver, but it doesn't make up for the mistakes.

Thing is Forza 1 they had a 944 turbo, and when i randomly thought one day that id check to see if the game had it, they did and i was super happy haha. Only problem is i dont know how accurately portrayed the car is.

i hated how the 944 was portrayed in Forza 2 in terms of handeling and tuneability (word?) In stock form the car felt sorta vague and would snap oversteer randomly, even with smooth inputs. When tuned I could never seem to get it right, it would just oversteer with any power and i could NOT get it to understeer a little on corner exit as i like. Also you could not add a rear wing which i thought was stupid considering a LOT of tracked 944's have rear wings that probably make a huge difference in downforce. Also they should've had a 924S and an N/A 944 and had a 924S/944 spec race series imo.

No. Complaining is what drives and inspires improvement and evolution. The first step to solving a problem is recognizing it.
Besides, it's been included in the game for 3 editions already. For the first Forza, sure, I'm happy however it looks. I bought Forza just for the 951 and 959. For the second one, there was hardly any change - actually, they changed the wheels from the phone dials to the period-incorrect cup2s. For Forza 3, I really expected better. Come on now, "Carrera 4" center caps??
While I'm at it, I think I'll also complain about their Porsche car list. I understand if they leave out the 968 - it's uncommon and unknown. And it's a 951S chassis anyway. I also understand if they leave out the 924, to the non-enthusiast, it's just a primitive version of the 944 and they already covered that base. But, the 928 (gts) should be in the game. It's an oversight. It may not seem sporty to you guys (on most days I would agree), but it weighs less than a Nissan 350Z, it has a monster of an engine (in the video game world where things never need maintenance), and it had a suspension way ahead of its time - modern even by today's standards. A unique beast of a sports car.
Feel free to disagree but I don't see why I can't complain about it!
A friend got the promo/prerelease or whatever it is, and I got to see it.
