Thats pretty cool Cameron that they photographed your car to use some of the pictures for the design ingame. Do you have those pics so we can see? Not that im asking proof of what you said, but some confirmation would be nice but even more really cool to see!

I figure they just got lazy and really didn't think anyone would mind so instead of designing completely different wheels they just slapped on the ones from a 911.
No I don't have any of the pictures as their methods are confidential. I couldn't take pictures of them taking pictures either.

My car has Boxster rims, so maybe they got confused.

anyone else notice the oil pressure is stuck at 3bar. even WOT at 194mph

Overall I think they did a great job, I love the working boost gauge etc. Only thing is 680hp is about 150hp too much for me!

forza 3 is an upset to me with many cars, both in the game and left out...um the 356 and the 550(which was in the forza 1). also the print on the screen at times is way to damn small(i'm stuck with a 15" screen). some races are dumb, like battle of the 90's Japanese super cars, they only allow the r32 skyline, the mk4 supra, the rx7 and the nsx, how about the Mitsubishi gto(fastest of the bunch) and the 300zx.

as for the 944, buy the ignition upgrade, give you 247hp on the dot and 258tq...951S ratings.

cars they forgot:
-928
-550
-924 cgt
-968
-viper rt/10
-chapparel as a whole
-panoz avi roadster
-a regular 911 c2
-rousch mustangs(they got saleen)
-the original scirocco
-the new nissan gtr(but they got the racers)
- and many others, 2 discs damn it want 500 cars

tracks: VIR, Limerock, Daytona , Spa, and god only knows how many other world class tracks that would be better than Maple Valley

i did an enduro race today, they forgot the...cars get dirty which they had last time, tires wear out quicker than fuel(usually, 997 gt2). the cars i win, i often already bought them, thanks for making me waste 130k. 20mil for a ferrari gto(275gtb version) way way too much for a game, realistic pricing like that, i'm not playing a year for one car, once through the game you only win 11.75mil. give me a reason to go buy a chrysler 300...it's not gonna win anything, it won't beat a cts-v or an m5 in a circuit race...or drag race. i like how it's blatantly obvious that audi sponsers this game...guess that's how they got the r8 fsi prior to launch of the car. it seemed they care way too much about the fact they have the veyron(which sucks btw) but they forgot that it's spoiler raises as does the slr mclaren and several other cars( gran turismo 3/4 have it). if it's a simulation of real life, i'll load 3 discs of content if i have to to make it a better game. 8 cars per race is not enough, yet some tracks you can't even fit 2 cars side by side to pass. a zo6 and an r8 don't work in the alps racing through corners designed for fiat 500's

note: 944's have hazard switches in the same spot as the 968, interiors didn't really change from 89-95 other than shifter, and clock, and guages(what they read to), being able to upgrade to a 968 turbo s spoiler would be cool though

I agree with you. I tried playing on my 23"? and it was impossible to read anything. Tried playing on our living room TV which is bigger and OMG, still can't read everything! And to make matters worse, when trying to upgrade body parts on the VW mk2 GTI (my car) you can't see the parts you're trying to upgrade! Well the bumpers at least. LAME.

Another key detail that makes me want to punch a baby is the inability to move the camera while viewing cars in the garage. Yes. I said it makes me want to punch a baby.

I know they are in the same spot, but IIRC all 944's had black hazard switches and 968's had bright red ones like the one in the game.

I don't expect the game to be so realistic as to allow the build-up of a 3.0L 8v turbo or installation of deutsch-9 parts.... but things like the red hazard switch, C4 caps, and rounded flag mirrors just irk me.

Good point, also, on the removal of the 550 spyder - it was in forza 1, so why did they take it out for 2 and 3?

i have a red hazard...i don't think it was replaced, i've never done it, it had sat for 2yrs prior to me...and i'm the 2nd owner. the only thing typical with mine is the odo not working. and o yea my gauge never goes over 3/4 and is buried on R for a long time before running out.

though yes deutsch-9 does make that spoiler, it was stock on 90-91 944's, and i've seen people just take the spoiler off a parts 968 for their 944.

overall, ok game, i'll still play it till february when i can go out and get the new modern warfare casue i forgot to preorder it.

they need to get more cars for some of the companies, they hae like 4 varients of the same civic of the same generation, i'd be happy with a 928 and a 968 turbo s

That's a sweet GTP replica! A good job considering what they had to work with.

I don't know if this was mentioned before but I just noticed another problem. The brake light on a 944 is a single bulb that occupies both inner red rectangles, and it lights up as an oval. In the game, each inner red rectangle has it's own visible bulb, and both rectangles light up completely. So basically it lights up as a big square instead of an oval.

On RoW cars brake lights are outer red rectangulars under the turn signals, so maybe that confused them.
