Saw the article regarding string alignment. A comment was made by Carl that on the track the 944 runs best with zero toe on all 4 wheels. I ain't arguing with Carl but that's not what I've been told by other shops. Any thoughts?

P.S. that's with a solid bushing suspension, so I know there's very little flex under hard braking. With stock bushings, I'd suggest a little more toe-in. Otherwise you'll get toe-out during braking which makes the car quite darty as you try to turn-in.

I run zero tow in front and 1/16 tow in each side in the rear. I have an open diff and still stock bushing in the rear trailing arms. As such I need this to keep the rear end stable under braking and be able to trail brake.

It's still street legal but is track dedicated with no rubber in the suspension, run Hoosiers and BFG R1's. Did check with Todd & he differs with the article in "E".

I'm pretty happy with zero all around. Some like a tick of toe-in in the rear for stability under braking and maybe a little toe-out in the front for performance. The toe-in on the rear is especially true if you don't have upgraded bushings in the rear suspension.
