Nice work, how do you find the car in the winter? I am debating leaving the full insurance on my 944 and driving it in the winter a bit

Herr Dr, the car is amazing in the winter with good snows. The extra weight in the rear of the car does wonderful things for it. So do the 944 turbo sways! I think if i had an LSD it completely perfect, but even with the open diff its great!

You did a great job on those phonies....Just hope that paint holds up the winter for you. Road salt might take you back to where you started.

driven my 951 thru 10 winters here in CO, couple of things I've learned the hard way:
Never load sand bags in the hatch area if you have a dog..their nails will puncture the bags and sand is a major hassle to clean up...gets everywhere by the end of the season
Ideally get a large old rough nylon suitcase and load that with sand bags, wont shift in moderate cornering and contains the sand
Tires make all the difference, switch your tires early 'cause as you know if you live in Co..one day it's 70 degrees and the next we have a foot on the ground...in low temperatures summer tires are like driving on hard plastic..quite terrifying
just my two cents
