Default Set of 15x7 Phone Dials OR Set of 15x7 Cookie Cutters YOU CHOOSE

So, I am having to sell a set of my rims (either the ones on it now the phone dials) or my spares (the cookie cutters...) I really wanted to keep both, but my clutch disk crumbled, and I don't have the cash to fix it out of pocket. Both sets are 23 mm offsets and 15x7 rims. The phone dials are in AWESOME shape (no scratches, paint looks great, no bending or anything. Also on the phone dials, the front tires are in decent shape...and the back tires probably need to be replaced soon. I can remove the tires if you don't want them to make shipping cheaper.

The cookie cutters are not in bad shape. The paint is a little flat, but other than that, they are decent. They would work well for autocross. I don't care which set sells, but I am asking $400 for either set...or give me your best offer. I don't have long to wait for this so don't be afraid to offer what you can. I have to get rid of these things in the next week or so.

Here's a few pics. I can upload more upon request.

I am located in Atlanta, so I can meet someone if your local, or if your not, I'll ship them.

Thanks for the help guys!

For reference $400 a set is about twice the going rate on either set of wheels.

I think 200 is a little low especially with decent tires and all 4 center caps BUT even with that being said, if you say 200 obo people offer 150.... if I say 400 obo someone might offer 300 or so which is what I need. But thanks for the advice. Hopefully someone needs some new rims!

The only 944 guys that want cookies and phone dials are autocross/track or 944 spec guys. For us center caps are use less and tires are useless. I have 3 sets of cookie cutters and never spent over $50 a wheel. If you can sell them for more great, but I am just giving you the facts. If those wheels were "perfect" visual condition then maybe $300. If they were 15x8 fuchs then $400 is reasonable.

I agree that in most cases cookies and phone dials are mostly used in autocross, BUT there are definitely occasions where someone has en early 944 with cookies that wants to upgrade to phone dials...and that's who I'm hoping for. The phone dials are in excellent shape...they look brand new so if someone with an early 944 wants to switch from the cookies to these than they'll work.

Thanks guys

I'm surprised no mentioned the fact that he is not a member yet.

Do the decent tires need replaced, as mentioned in the first post?

If you read again the FRONT tires are in decent shape...the BACK need to be replaced soon (maybe 2k-3k miles)...I did however accidentally overlook the part about you have to be a member to post parts for sale....sorry about that.

I'm not trying to rip anyone off...I wanted to be part of the Porsche community and the same day I bought my 944 the clutch goes out. I've only been able to drive this thing 3 times so far and it's my favorite car out of everything I've ever owned...

So sorry for posting without being a member...hopefully I can get a little bit for these things yost least cover SOME of the cost associated with a 944 clutch job.

Thanks for all the help

Matt

You can post, but you just are supposed to be a member to sell something. No worries though, welcome to Rennlist and good luck with your 944!

PS i recently purchased some late offset phone dials for 30each, however i did need to refinish them. Now that they are freshly painted (including the full color crests on the centers) i wouldn't expect to get anymore than 300 for them.

Well...I'd be happy to get 250... At this point. I wasn't expecting 400..I'm just in a tough spot and I'll I have are extra wheels to make up for the cost of this clutch! Lmao

you also don't have to be a paying member to sell there lol...I never had any luck selling mine though!

Hey I am just now finishing up my clutch job. You will NEED some sort of universal/wobble joint for one of the upper bellhousing bolts. Refer to clark's garage or some factory service manuals...
