Hey everyone it has been a while since I have posted about my car but here I am. We have been working on the tear down of the car these past weeksend have come a long way.

We are done with the tear down and are beginning the work of restore. This is when I'm going to need the most help.

During our next meeting tomorrow night we are going to put together a list of parts I need. I hope you can help. It will be greatly appreciated.

I will post the parts list Tuesday night. Please let me know if you can help me with the parts I need. You can either post a reply or private message me and I will send you my address.

There has been a number of people helping me. This is the car of my dreams and I hope to finish it by this coming summer. I am busy with my driver's education so I can drive it the minute it can roll.

hey im sorry i have not been able to get those parts mailed yet. there were at my parents house and work/moving/travel has kept me busy.

i have a box of small parts i intend to mail tomorrow (its sitting on my floor as we speak)

i also have a list of bigger/heavy parts i can not afford to ship unless i know they are needed:

front brake calipers with good pads (work)
ac compressor (it looks new but was not fully hooked up when i bought the car and i haven't tried it)
entire power steering system pump, lines, rack, reservoir, tie rods, cooler (works but leaks)
entire ac system (still in car but comming out)
3 spoke steering wheel out of my 924s (perfect shape)


like i said, i will ship the smaller parts (and the brake calipers if they fit in the flat rate box) but let me know if you want some of the larger items and we can work something out.

reply back soon if possible as i will be out ouf town for an extended period of time again...

front brake calipers (work)
front pads (almost new)
rear pads (almost new)
afm (works)
speedo gear for 924s (bran new)
shift boot (one small hole)
shift **** (great shape)
shifter (worn)
ignition rotor (usable)
windshield sprayer pump (worked)
headlight sprayer pump (unsure)

like i said i also have and entire ac system (unsure of condition) and a full power steering rack. let me know if you could use any of the parts. due to size and weight i dont want to ship for nothing.

Wow, that looks awesome. I hope my car looks like that some day. I am going to go work on my car tomorrow so I will take some pics of my car and post them.

 

I might have some extra parts leftover from a parts car i'm parting out. It's going to my own track car, but if i have some parts here and there I can see what I may be able to help with.

Here's my '87 w/ phone dials. It's still not perfect, but it's made quite a progression from an inoperative condition in 2008.

we forgot to send over the girdle so thats going over this week
